About Zubi Labs Impact
Zubi Labs is the Impact Venture Builder/Startup Studio of Zubi Group. They create and finance triple impact companies, which means those that seek to generate not only economic benefits but also social and environmental value.

The project 🌱
They are looking for a CTO & CoFounder to lead the technology strategy of one of our new ventures, ensuring a robust infrastructure to ensure the scalability of our project.
They want the person who joins them to be passionate about technology, always up to date with the latest trends and technology stacks, and have no qualms about rolling up their sleeves to hack code in the early stages of the project.
And, finally, a positive person, who will help us create a technical culture and vision based on agility and who is very focused on making their work generate relevant value and impact in the company.
Your mission 👀
As CTO & CoFounder you will be responsible for defining the strategy and overseeing the planning and execution of projects and technical processes of the new venture:
Determining both the server and hardware infrastructure and the optimal architecture in the short, medium and long term. They have developed an MVP, but the person who joins as CTO will have total freedom to propose, define and implement the best solution based on the needs of the organization (come on, a candy!).
Analyzing current needs to ensure the development and implementation of effective and efficient solutions based on innovation.
Identifying, mapping and incorporating trends, methodologies and technologies that can favour the growth and scalability of our initiative.
Creating and managing the technical team, defining its structure and roles, getting involved in its recruitment and supervising its training and development.
Supporting improvement and digital transformation projects that allow us to optimize their internal processes.
What they expect from you 🏅
Their main requirement is that you have an entrepreneurial attitude and are passionate about impact and sustainability.
You have contributed with your work to the growth and scaling of a startup from a CTO, Engineering Manager or Tech Lead role. You may even have been an entrepreneur yourself or a fellow traveler of a founder & CEO that you have had to complement with your experience leading the entire technology area.
You have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle as well as best practices in programming and excellence in at least one of the following languages: Python, C# and Java. In addition, you bring a strong background in databases (MySQL, MongoDB or PostgreSQL) and knowledge of Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure) and AI. And it would be a plus if you add experience with Nodejs, JS, Go, Flutter, Xamarin or React.
You are at your best when you have to lead and inspire other people, and you are characterized by your ability to assemble WOW teams, with high technical skills and strong level of commitment.
You are the perfect combination of technical profile, business acumen and speed of execution.
You have experience in dynamic, fast changing, complex environments. You have a high tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty.
You like the world of ideas, but you also roll up your sleeves to the detail to make things happen, under short deadlines and few resources. Challenges make you grow!
You have a focus, bordering on obsession, for the customer and how to add value as well as the ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
You have analytical skills and a "doer attitude". You work in a structured, autonomous and goal-driven way. You are characterized by your high resilience and ability to take risks.
You have the vital need to create your own company, and you want to do it hand in hand with other entrepreneurs.
You are a good communicator, at least in English and Spanish.
